Alaro to Andratx via Soller
This is a pretty long day in the saddle at 146km, but the hardest climb—the Soller pass—comes at the start when you’re fresh enough to really enjoy the hairpins. The pass is lost in a time-warp (as this old postcard image suggests), as since 1997 all the traffic to Soller goes through the tunnel, leaving the old 57-hairpin road to the cyclists (and the Brit who runs the cafe at the top).
